Environmental Policy

We here at Frame Emporium take environmental issues very seriously.
As a business, we recognise that we have a responsibility to act in as sustainable a way as possible.
Please read our environmental pledges below.

Purchasing

We only use materials from sustainable sources.
All of our hardwood frames come from managed forests in North America.
We always buy FSC registered softwoods.
We will not use any "rainforest" hardwood.
We use recycled paper and materials whenever possible.

Recycling

We recycle all of the recyclable materials that we use.
All glass, paper, cardboard and metal are separated out and recycled.
As such, we have managed to cut the waste that goes to landfill by 75% over the last 2 years.

Energy

We make a conscious effort to use as little energy as possible.
We switch off lights, heating and electric devices every evening.
We use low energy lightbulbs throughout our premises.
